Corporate and funds expert Stuart Fee has been promoted to partner in the BVI, further strengthening Ogier’s leading technology and web3 expertise in the Caribbean.
Named a key lawyer in the Legal 500 2026 Caribbean guide, Stuart is an established adviser in Ogier’s top-ranked corporate, finance and investment funds practice in the BVI. His practice includes corporate and commercial, finance and investment funds law.
He has considerable experience advising on cross-border and corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, plus the ongoing legal and regulatory compliance of regulated and unregulated entities, economic substance, banking, and trust company regulatory issues.
He also advises on the establishment, launch and ongoing maintenance of open-ended and closed-ended investment funds, particularly in the LatAm region.
Stuart brings additional expertise to Ogier's highly regarded BVI Technology and Web3 practice. He has acted for exchanges, token issuers, virtual assets services providers, multi-national corporations, fintech and blockchain founder-led start-ups, funds and fund managers, corporate borrower groups and investors in relation to their investment in digital assets.
Having graduated from Ogier's partner development programme, Stuart's promotion comes at a time of expansion for Ogier's cross-jurisdictional Technology and Web3 team, which recently welcomed Racheal Muldoon to its Cayman Corporate team in London.
BVI partner and co-lead of Ogier's Technology and Web3 group Michael Killourhy said: "Stuart’s promotion is testament to his expertise in BVI corporate and funds matters, as well as his commitment to outstanding service delivery. Our BVI team is going from strength to strength, driven by talented lawyers like Stuart, whose knowledge and insight are highly valued by clients. We're delighted to welcome him to the Ogier partnership.”
Before joining Ogier in 2024, Stuart was part of the corporate and regulatory team at another law firm in the BVI. He is admitted in both the BVI and England and Wales and is a graduate of the University of Exeter.
Stuart's promotion is subject to immigration approval. Find out more about Ogier's Technology and Web3 specialist team and Corporate law services.
